Well, Lord, I am definitely challenged as I see what is going on around me within my country and in other nations. It makes me grateful for the solid foundation only hope in your promises builds. Faith through difficulty leads to endurance, and as Paul explains, endurance builds character and character produces hope. Hope doesn’t put us to shame, because God pours his love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. Faith is believing in what can’t be seen, trusting in God’s promises. Increase my conviction to what I can’t see, until my faith becomes my sight and I physically see what I’ve been putting my faith and obedience toward for so many years. Father, I trust you. I pray in the name and authority of Jesus, who gave me access to the holy places through his blood, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.” “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Hebrews 10: 23, 11:1 ESV)
