Father, Malachi wrote of the Lord’s coming about 430 years before Mary gave birth to the Messiah. That is a long time to wait to see if what he wrote took place, but it did. Just as You said, a messenger came preaching to make straight the paths for the Messiah. Isaiah prophesied of John’s coming an additional 250 prior to Malachi. This is why I love your Word, because it stands the test of time. As John, the Apostle, wrote, “These words are trustworthy and true.” I thank You for the assurance and hope they bring to me daily. Thank You for the path they show me to walk within the circle of your will. Thank You for sending your Holy Spirit to help me when I don’t understand.
