Father, allow me to sink into Your arms and soak in the multitude of Your mercy. Let me remain there and know Your deep and abiding love for me. The news cycle haunts me, and the daily onslaught of questionable opinions pushes me to anxiety. I seek the peace of Your presence and assurance. You are in control. You are sovereign. You are righteous and just. I come into Your presence to worship in the name and authority of Jesus, who made a way through the cross, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.
