Father, thank You for redeeming this fallen world and those who believe, through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. My words fail my heart, because they cannot express how profound a love and devotion I carry for my Savior. Help me express the change in my life to others. There was no easy future after my becoming a follower of Jesus. There are many rough patches in my past, and You know them all. However, there is now One who loves me like no other through them all, accepts me as I am, guards my days and nights, leads me to do what is right, forgives me when I fail, and assures me of eternal life with Him and those followers who have gone before. Jesus walks with me on this side of heaven; and He will walk me into heaven itself one day. I honor You, Father. Be glorified in my daily walk in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, ‘This was He of whom I said, “He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.”‘ And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” (John 1:14-17 NKJV)
