Prayer for Today

Abba, Father, the most important day of my life is when I turned to follow Jesus and received Your grace of salvation. The prompting that day was from deep in my soul, strong enough to move my feet to the altar and publicly declare my love and dedication. Everything I was, in my messiest season, I handed over to You that day.

All I have now is gifted by Your grace and steadfast love. I am who You say I am. I serve out love and devotion to You, Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit. As David ends Psalm 23, “Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.” I did not receive Your grace in vain. I thank You for extending Your calling me to come. I pray in the name and authority of Jesus, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.

“We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says: ‘In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.’ Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:1-2 NKJV)
