Abba, Father, You are the God of all comfort. You are the God of peace. You are the God of harmony. You are the God of order. You are El Roi, the God who sees us. I have a heart for those who struggle during the holy season of Jesus’ birth. Gather them under Your loving care. Fill the voids felt in hearts missing loved ones, either through death or estrangement.
I pray for harmony in families suffering the consequences of dysfunction and chaos. Reunite them and restore relationships. Heal the hurting. Strengthen the bonds among them. I pray for prodigals who have wandered. Light their way back to You and to their loved ones. Intervene in the way only You can to rebuild and renew the joy of loving and being loved.
Wrap Your loving arms around Your beloved and let them know your presence and assurance in their time of need. Sew strength and resolve for brighter days spent with You. I bring my petition in the name and authority of Jesus, who knew the pain of separation, yet died and rose to reconcile us to You, Father. I pray in His name and authority, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.
“And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV)
