Almighty, Loving Father, You performed a great work in me through salvation. I am a new creation. My old nature was not upgraded to a better one, it was replaced by my new nature in Christ Jesus. The gift of salvation changed how I think, believe, and live according to my belief. It was nothing I deserved, this gift of new life. It was nothing I could earn.
Put my feet on the path of Your purpose today. Give me the foresight to see and discern as I go about my daily tasks. Renew my mind with Your Word. Renew my soul with Your power. Strengthen my hand for the work You set before me in the name and authority of Jesus, who died so that I may be made new, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.
βFor by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.β (Ephesians 2: 8-10 NKJV)
