Lord, You know my heart. You know my tendency toward codependency and people pleasing. You have seen me avoid confrontation at all cost. You direct me to stand fast to Your leading and teaching. You encourage me to hold on to who You are and what You are doing to sanctify me and mold me into being more like You.
Thank You for Your grace upon me, because I cannot do this standing firm thing in my own power. Thank You for Holy Spirit, who helps me stand firm in my weakness. You continue to do a work in me and through me. Grant me holy boldness to stand fast in Your name and authority greater than any other, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
“Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle. Joy S. Taylor is a follower of Christ, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
