Prayer for Today

King Jesus, You are my Savior, my Lord, my redeemer, and my friend. By Your amazing grace and mercy, You call me friend. Thank You for rending the veil and making it possible to come directly and boldly to Your throne of grace. You, who will judge the hearts and souls of all, bends down to offer mercy. Now, that is amazing grace. You are to be praised to the highest. I exalt Your name and pray by the power and authority of Your name, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen

“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4: 14-16 NKJV)

Her workdays were spent using the Master of Science in Accounting degree that God graciously allowed at the age of, well, greater than 40. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives.
