Lord, You saw me struggling in the pit. You saw the enemy circling ever closer. You knew the dilemma I faced. You heard my cries from the darkest of moments. You answered over time, establishing my feet on solid ground. You began strengthening my heart and soul for the spiritual and emotional battle out of control and threat. You settled me and held me in Your healing. You allowed me to grab onto the hem of Your robe that fills the temple to climb out of the pit and up to the rock that was higher ground. You restored me to You and brought a new song to the renewal in me. You set me on the path to lovingly serve You. You called me to Your eternal glory. That is why I bring my prayer in Your name and authority that to You be the glory and dominion forever, according to the Father’s good and perfect will. Amen.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 5: 8-11 NKJV)
