Almighty and Infinite God and Father, You are over all, in all and above all, worthy of our worship and praise. In Your mercy, grant us discernment to winnow through the information overload of today. Allow us Your wisdom and peace in Christ. Enable us to fulfill the covenant term ‘steadfast’ as we apply our faith to avoid the pitfalls and temptations in our path. Put a desire within us to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus, the Christ. Be glorified in the outcome, Father, in the name and authority of Jesus, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.
“Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.
