Prayer for Today

Father, I think about how You cared for Your people, whether stiff-necked or obedient, I think of how You care for me now. You go out for the salvation of Your beloved, of which I am one. You have ushered me out of a personal wilderness, encircled me with Your love, and now You keep me as the apple of Your eye. It gives me pause and great joy to know this from Your Word. Father, I love You. I trust You. I praise You in the name and authority of Jesus, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.

“7 Remember the days of old,
Consider the years of many generations.
Ask your father, and he will show you;
Your elders, and they will tell you:
When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations,
When He separated the sons of Adam,
He set the boundaries of the peoples
According to the number of the children of Israel.
For the LORD’s portion is His people;
Jacob is the place of His inheritance.
10 “He found him in a desert land
And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness;
He encircled him, He instructed him,
He kept him as the apple of His eye.”
(Deuteronomy 32: 7-10 NKJV)
