Lord, help us remember Your great deeds. You have shown Your love, and exhibited Your power and might as You work continually for the greater good and for Your glory. Our relationship to You and prayer in our need and in our abundance should be our first response. Help us to recognize that You stand in the shadows to see Your word performed.
No weapon formed against us will prosper, because of Your saving refuge. You hold us in Your righteous right hand and nothing, nor no one can pluck us from it. Your strength holds us there, not our own. Forgive us where we fail to remember. Be glorified in our thoughts, words, and deeds in Your name and authority, Lord Jesus, according to the Father’s perfect will. Amen.

Joy S Taylor is a follower of Christ, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her workdays were spent using the Master of Science in Accounting degree that God graciously allowed at the age of, well, greater than 40. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives. Now retired, she concentrates on writing for Jesus from her beloved hickory grove in Indiana, yet devotes some of her time to volunteering.
