Lord, You watch us launch, making questionable choices that affect everyone in the circle of our influence. You see that we veer to the right and to the left and get off the path You desire us to tread. Thank You for the conviction on our hearts to grow and mature into the people You want us to be. Thank You for the grace and mercy You offer in forgiving our childish and selfish behavior.

Thank You for putting mentors and spiritual leaders in our path. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit who leads us back to solid thinking. Thank You for putting the goal of standing on the rock that is higher. Thank You for instilling a desire for righteousness in our hearts. Thank You for rewarding our efforts. Forgive us where we fail You, for in failing You, we fail ourselves and our futures. We bring our prayer in the name and authority of Jesus, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.

“Rejoice, O young man, in your youth, And let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth; Walk in the ways of your heart, And in the sight of your eyes; But know that for all these God will bring you into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, And put away evil from your flesh, For childhood and youth are vanity. Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, ‘I have no pleasure in them’” (Ecclesiastes 11: 9-10, 12:1 NKJV)
