Lord, You know better than we of the deep wound when the one You love turns away. You alone can speak to our pain, because You understand at the soul level. Satan is attacking our families. The estrangement culture dims the light of our days and darkens the emptiness of the nights. Only You can bridge the gap created.

Only You can speak to the hurting hearts on both sides of the chasm. Only You can remove the scales of disillusionment and promote forgiveness and restoration. Intercede on behalf of the family, Lord. Touch hearts to promote connection and unity in Your name and authority, for the glory of the Father and according to His good and perfect will. Amen.

“​But now, O LORD, ​​You are our Father; ​​We are the clay, and You our potter; ​​And all we are the work of Your hand. ​​Do not be furious, O LORD, ​​Nor remember iniquity forever; ​​Indeed, please look—we all are Your people!” (Isaiah 64: 8-9 NKJV)

Her workdays were spent using the Master of Science in Accounting degree that God graciously allowed at the age of, well, greater than 40. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives.
