Everlasting Father, You created us in Your image. You placed a desire to know You within our hearts, and we are restless until we commit our lives to You. You give us peace and the joy of Your salvation. Oh, that we may not leave our first and forever love. Turn us back into the circle of Your will. Captivate our hearts afresh. Renew our souls with Your living water, and we will never be thirsty again. Remind us how far You have brought us from darkness to light, from abandoned to accepted, from condemned to redeemed. We pray in humility and gratitude in the name and authority of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.

Joy S Taylor is a follower of Christ, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her workdays were spent using the Master of Science in Accounting degree that God graciously allowed at the age of, well, greater than 40. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery and Care Net, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives. Now retired, she concentrates on writing for Jesus from her beloved hickory grove in Indiana, yet devotes some of her time to volunteering.
