Father, we are but souls in need of rescue, redemption and salvation. You are our source and our refuge. You grow us within Your kingdom with the nourishment of Your Word and the strength of Your hand. You provide. You teach. You chasten. You uphold.
Your mercy is all-encompassing and everlasting. You are due honor, glory and praise, because You have done mighty things on our behalf. We put our trust and patience in Your name, because it is the name above all names. We bring our praises in the name and authority of Jesus, who died to bring us forgiveness of our sins, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.

Joy S Taylor is a follower of Christ, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her workdays were spent using the Master of Science in Accounting degree that God graciously allowed at the age of, well, greater than 40. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery and Care Net, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives. Now retired, she concentrates on writing for Jesus from her beloved hickory grove in Indiana, yet devotes some of her time to volunteering.
