Father, we scour and devour Your Word, waiting upon You to move. We have witnessed the great and mighty things that You have done. We stand by our witness, knowing You are faithful and trustworthy. We can count on Your promises. We submit to Your wisdom and timing. We believe You work continually for the greater good and for Your glory. We understand Your justice, grace and mercy, for we have seen the effects in our lives. We come to Your courts to exalt Your attributes in the name and authority of Your beloved Son, Jesus, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.
“Therefore the LORD will wait, that He may be gracious to you; And therefore He will be exalted, that He may have mercy on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; Blessed are all those who wait for Him.” (Isaiah 30: 18 NKJV)

Joy S Taylor is a follower of Christ, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her workdays were spent using the Master of Science in Accounting degree that God graciously allowed at the age of, well, greater than 40. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery and Care Net, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives. Now retired, she concentrates on writing for Jesus from her beloved hickory grove in Indiana, yet devotes some of her time to volunteering.
