Father in heaven, You are El Olam, everlasting God. You are Yahweh, the LORD. You are Elohim, Mighty Creator. There is no end to Your understanding. You favor us as Your beloved. You grant us strength when we are weak. You renew us when we are weary. You lift us on the wings of the eagles to soar according to Your will. You shelter us beneath Your righteousness.
Father, forgive us when we fail You. We love You. We want to know You more and serve You more effectively. We thank You that Jesus has made a way for us to come directly to Your mercy seat with our requests. We come to praise You in Jesus’ name and authority, according to Your good and perfect will. Amen.

Joy S Taylor is a follower of Christ, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her workdays were spent using the Master of Science in Accounting degree that God graciously allowed at the age of, well, greater than 40. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery and Care Net, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives. Now retired, she concentrates on writing for Jesus from her beloved hickory grove in Indiana, yet devotes some of her time to volunteering.
