Almighty and Holy One, I heard, and my lips quivered at the crunching metal sound. Weakness entered my bones, at the event, and I shuttered to see the result. My legs trembled beneath me as I crawled out the passenger door to see the damage on your car. You went out for the salvation of your servant, Father. Though the enemy tries to shake me, yet I will take joy in the God of my salvation. Though my knees knock as I speak, I say aloud, “Get behind me, Satan! Take your battle to the Lord! You are defeated.” My God protected me, and he will, yet again. The children cry out your praise. It comes from the mouths of babes. We are an army rising up to stand for the righteousness of our God. Let us go forward with the faith of a precious child. Let us walk boldly in the armor. Let us continue to talk about the mighty working of God in our lives. You stand with us, Lord. Your Spirit goes before us. You make a way where there seems to be none. All honor, glory and praise to your holy name. I pray my gratitude to my holy God in the name of Jesus, according to his good and perfect will. Amen.
“I hear, and my body trembles;
my lips quiver at the sound;
rottenness enters into my bones;
my legs tremble beneath me.
Though the fig tree should not blossom,
nor fruit be on the vines,
the produce of the olive fail
and the fields yield no food,
the flock be cut off from the fold
and there be no herd in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the Lord;
I will take joy in the God of my salvation.
God, the Lord, is my strength;” (Habakkuk 3:16a,17-19 ESV)
