Abba, Daddy, you call me your child by the process of your adopting me into your household. How great is your love for me. Your presence is strong and wonderful. You uplift me with your Spirit. Your joy is like no other. It perseveres even in this present darkness. It overcomes my trepidation. It spreads through my heart and renews in me the joy of your salvation. It gives me rest and rebuilds my desire to serve you. Thank you that you stand in the shadows to see your word performed. Thank you for holding me tightly in your righteous and powerful right hand. Thank you that you are who you say you are. Thank you that you keep your promises. Father, forgive my wavering. Keep me focused on Jesus, in whose name and authority I pray, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10b ESV)
