Jehovah, LORD, you are the God of personal relationship. You sent Jesus to conquer sin and death, establish your church and teach the apostles their roles in spreading your message of the good news and the hope of salvation through believing in your gospel. Oh, to be able to stand in Jerusalem where you told them they would be witnesses of your account even to the ends of the earth through the power of the Holy Spirit. Tap the power of the Holy Spirit in me and increase boldness in me so that I can speak your truth with love and gentleness. Organize my thoughts in order for me to give a sound, succinct and reasoned answer for why I believe. Show me how to ask the right questions that prick conscious activity and start the wheels of productive thought turning. Feed the engine of revival, Holy Spirit. I realize it is not my job to save, only to speak. Be glorified in the harvest, Father. I ask in the name and authority of Jesus, the Christ, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
