Father, the evidence that this is a fallen and falling-further world is all around me, yet I trust you as Jehovah Sabaothm, God Almighty. I see those who have made poor decisions, who are living with the consequences, and I trust that you are working for their good. I see circumstances with those having difficulty at a work situation, and those seeking to find work, and I trust that you are working toward their good. I see difficulties and rifts in families that appear to be impossible to bridge, and I trust that you are working to resolve them. I see those fighting hardship and disease, and I trust that you are working on their behalf. I see financial struggle and looming loss around the world, yet I trust that you are in control and working. You are El Roi, the God who sees us. You see what I see, but you know what I can’t know and what I can’t see. Your word tells me that even when I can’t see you working, you are there, working for the greater good of all. When I peek into the message you have sent us and see the New Jerusalem, I know beyond a doubt that you are at work to our benefit, and I trust you, Father. Abba, Daddy, I trust you. I pray in the precious name of Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and according to your good perfect will for us. Amen.

“Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!” (Psalm 31:19 ESV)
