Gracious and loving God, you are the author of wisdom and the God of perfect timing. Lend us your wisdom, Father, as you did for Solomon. Keep us faithful to your ways, and dedicated to your service. Show us when to move and when to stay put, when to act and when to pull back to rest. Give us your perfect timing to accomplish your purpose. Keep us content in the times you desire our inaction and recuperation. Let us rest solely on your direction and live assured in your goodness. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, who prayed for your will, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
