Father, some days weigh heavily upon us. Some hours the thirst for you cannot be quenched on this earth. Some moments seem unbearably long. But you, O God, are our strong tower. You are the lift under our wings. You get us through the trials and tribulations, and we praise you even in the storms of life. We lift your name through the darkness. We hold firm in our faith, knowing that you stand in the shadows to see your word performed. You give us your mighty working power through your Holy Spirit. You bring the victory; and we fly like the eagles. Thank you in the name and authority of Jesus, who taught us true grit, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
