Almighty God, you loved us before you created the garden, before you created man, before the fall, before we saw your beauty and turned your way, and before Jesus covered our unrighteousness with his perfection. His perfect love continues to uphold us in right relationship to you, Father. It is all him and nothing of our own doing but the acceptance of your salvation. Let that knowledge of who perfects us sink deeply into us to strengthen our faith and remove any trepidation or fear of past, present or future. We stand on your promise that Paul quoted from Isaiah that your covenant will be when you take away our sins. The Abrahamic covenant is fulfilled in Jesus, and the new covenant of Jesus stands forever to speak of your marvelous love for all. Thank you for loving me first, Father. I praise you for your steadfast love in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us.”
