Dear Jesus, you are loving and good. Your presence fills my heart and lightens my day. Knowing that you experienced physical, emotional and spiritual pain far greater than I ever could helps me understand the deep concern you have for me when I go through the valleys. Your love drags me from the pit and lifts me to the fresh breezes of the mountain tops. Thank you, dear Jesus. I praise your precious name, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
” But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.” (Hebrews 2:9 ESV)
