Heavenly Father, time is nothing to you. You are from everlasting to everlasting. Time is precious to us while we work to complete the tasks you have for us. Give us wisdom to use our time wisely in our last days. Every day is in our last days. We can’t know when the last of the last days will come; and the urgency we feel is real. So much to get done, and so little time in which to do it. Keep our feet moving in the right steps. Keep our hands set to the most efficient ways to accomplish each task. Keep our minds stayed on your purpose and don’t let them wander. Forgive us when we get off track. Put us back on the narrow way. Give us energy when we need it and rest according to your will. Thank you that you can restore the years the locusts have eaten away, don’t let them eat at any more of our precious moments. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12 ESV)
