Father in Heaven, you are El Roi. You are the God who sees us. We run into the darkness, behind locked doors in our hearts, hoping to hide from your righteous, holy glory. Break open the doors of our unwillingness to believe. Show us your glory, Father. Enlighten us to know Jesus and exactly what it is that he did on our behalf on the cross. Make the truth known, Father. Lift up our heads to it. Open the ancient doors and let the King of Glory come into our lives as Savior and King. I ask in the precious name and powerful authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
