God of Hope, God of Salvation, God of Power and Might, there is none like you. Sometimes I forget that you love me and those for which I pray far more than is possible for me to comprehend. I forget that you work continually for the greater good and for your glory. I forget that it is your will that is to be done and not mine. I forget your sufficiency. You are all-in-all. I continue to pray for those I love, but with a different mindset. It is not how fervent I pray or how often or how moving. It is none of these. It is your sovereignty and lovingkindness, your will over the situations and lives for whom I pray. Their stories are not over until you say they are over. Be glorified in the outcome. Your will be done. Jesus be revealed. I humbly pray in the precious name and powerful authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect, good.and.perfect will. Amen.

“Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'” (2 Corinthians 12:8-9 ESV)
