Father, God, what a difference the new covenant makes. You visited Isaac in Beersheba to remind him you would bless him and his offspring for the sake of your relationship with Abraham. I have your constant presence in Christ because of your Spirit who lives in me. I rest in your assurance that your Spirit will never leave me. I lean on the promise and the baptism of your Holy Spirit. I listen for His voice in the stillness, as well as the roaring of His warnings and promptings. I learn from Him speaking through your Scriptures. I love the shivers I get that let me know You are near, always near, forever here. I thank you in the name and authority of Jesus, whose blood brought the new covenant, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.” (Hebrews 9:15 ESV)
