Father God, we have maladies. You know we have them. You are El Roi, the God who sees us. Help us, Almighty God, to overcome them and serve with them and in spite of them. Touch us and heal us, if that is your will. Allow us to serve you to our fullest and healthiest, knowing you are our all-in-all. You are sufficient. You are our rock and refuge. May we rest comfortably and peacefully between your powerful shoulders. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“About Benjamin he said: ‘Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between his shoulders.’” (Deuteronomy 33:12 NIV)
