Oh, Lord, may we tear down all our earthly efforts in order to live to God. May we look to him for comfort and solace, provision and hope. May we empty ourselves of everything so that God may fill us with himself. May we recognize and relish in His sufficiency. May we seek no further, but die to self in order to live to God. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20 ESV)
