Father in heaven, King of Hosts in Heaven and on earth, even under the earth, you stretched out the heavens and welled up the mountains. You filled the seas and calmed the storms. You are creator of all, ruler of all, and the God who sees us. Look down on us now as we bow our knee to your sovereignty and ask in humility that you be with all who struggle, be it difficult circumstance, loss or depression. I ask that your presence fill their homes like your robe fills the temple. May they but touch the hem of your garment and gain resilience and strength. Father, guide us all as we make decisions and face the future. Give us a glimpse of the glory that lies ahead, and give us a forever perspective at this specific time in each life. May we look to you in prayer for the hope that is before us, remembering your promise that you hold us all in your victorious right hand. I ask in the glorious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, and according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” (Isaiah 40:5 ESV)
