Dear Jesus, rescue us from the stresses and woes of this season. Show us how to best care for ourselves. Heal us from any infirmities. Remove all impurities from our bodies and strengthen our ability to work for your kingdom. Refresh us with the joy of your salvation. Revive us with your Holy Spirit to fully enjoy the meaning and impact of advent and the celebration of Jesus’ birth. Help us to exhale, relax and renew in your presence. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, the way, the truth and the life, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
