My beloved Holy God, you are my rock and salvation. You are the solid foundation that never changes. You are the hill upon which I fight for sanity and certainty. Transitions are hard for me, Father, but you know that. You see my past present and future play out before you. Nothing about me surprises you. Help me move through my days intentionally and purposefully only for your glory. Walk with me through the ups and downs, the ins and outs of people revolving in and then out again of my awareness. Transitions and change pull at my heartstrings and make me desire things as they were, instead of looking over current chasms toward a brighter tomorrow. Keep me looking heavenward, Lord. Move my thoughts to eternally knowing the joy of your presence. Fill the void this life creates with your loving Spirit. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?” (Numbers 23:19 ESV)
