Lord, I pray for your beleaguered workers, your servants who may be overwhelmed, hurting from the uneven dichotomous treacheries of evil, ready to bag it all and remove themselves from the fray. Stand by them in the fire, Lord. Break the currents roiling around them in the waters. Heal their bodies and minds. Even Jesus went away from the crowds to pray and regroup. Restore your called to a place of peace and assurance. If they can’t take it any more, give them one more sermon to preach. If they stumble on the path, give them one more step for others to follow. If they grieve, give them one more healing tear, and one more soul to encourage. Let their healing spring up swiftly and your light break forth like the dawn. Let your glory be their rearguard. May they receive and relive the joy of your salvation. May they walk with you more intimately as they transverse the wilderness to a better place and brighter future in Christ Jesus. I pray in your precious name and powerful authority, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.

“Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified to your truth, as indeed you are walking in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” ( 3 John 1: 2-4 ESV)
