Heavenly Father, show me your glory. Put me in the crevice of the rock as you pass by. Let me be ever aware of your presence and let me learn new ways to experience closeness with you as I practice spiritual obedience. You are with me as I read your Word. You are with me as I sing your praises. You are with me when I pray. You are with me when I give generously. You are with me when I care for others. You are with me when I walk. You are with me when I can but crawl. You are with me at the height of success. You are with me in the pit of failure. You are with me in my obedience and when I veer off course. Your powerful and righteous right arm lovingly guides me back to your way. Forgive the times of my stiff-necked disobedience. Forgive me when my giving is neither generous nor with a willing heart. Return me to the spiritual disciplines that grow me closer to you. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“…what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul…” (Deuteronomy 10:12 ESV)
