Father, sometimes the goal seems so far away. Some days, I struggle to discern what the goal really is. Then I remember that you set the parameters for each day. It isn’t my job to set the goals, but to follow you to your goal. Keep me persistent in the pursuit, Lord. Keep me focused on the hem of your robe. Keep my feet moving in the right direction. Keep them from faltering. Keep my heart from fainting at the task ahead. Keep my soul from fading in strength. Keep me from growing weary in doing good. Keep me stretching and striving, for you promise that in due season I will reap the harvest…if…I do not give up. Thank you for your Holy Spirit who keeps me keeping onward and upward. I praise you in the mighty name of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9 ESV)
