Father in heaven, who is above all and Creator of all, Master and Ruler of all, thank you for this day with its twists and turns, ups and oops. I look forward every day to finding something in your word that tells me how you look at me or gives me a clue as to what you think of me. You, the King of Israel, are with me; never again will I fear any harm. Lord, you are with me. You are mighty to save. You take delight in me and you quiet me with your love, you rejoice over me with singing. One day you will gather me and bring me home. You will give me honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth and you will restore my fortunes before my very eyes. (Zephaniah 3:15-20 paraphrased) And you will continue to sing over me. Sometimes I think I hear the melody in the rustling of the leaves or the whisper of the breeze. I praise you in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior, and according to your good and perfect will. Be glorified.
