Father God, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used the excuse of not enough time to you — no time to study your Word, no time to pray, too busy to listen, too distracted to seek your presence. Forgive, me, for I have sinned and stolen time from our relationship, Father. Now, and without warning, you’ve removed all the opportunities for excuse. You’ve placed me at home, the one you provided. You’ve opened up hours upon hours of time to read your Word, commune with you and grow my faith. You’ve put me in sabbatical, isolation, socially distanced, stay-cation. I come to your throne to thank you for this precious time to reset priorities and rekindle my love for you. I come to your garden of eternal hope to renew and restore. Thank you, Father, in the precious name of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.” (Psalm 90:12 ESV)
