Father God, may we look past this present state of being toward the glory that is before us in the New Heaven and the New Earth, as others fight over wealth and power of this world. You’ve shown us how quickly our earthly idols fall. May we look up and know that you are God. I ask these things in the name and authority of Jesus, who conquered this world from a cross, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
