Silent Saturday, Father, and we await Resurrection Sunday celebrations, remembering when Jesus shed the grave wrapping, rolled back the stone and conquered death. I await the new thing you have planned in our day and time. I expect new streams in the dessert, rivers of awakening, renewal and revival. I ask to see your glory, Father. Holy Spirit, hover over our unbelieving loved ones. Remove the hearts of stone and give them a heart of flesh, deeply in love with Jesus. Give them redemption through his blood; impart to them wisdom and insight. Make known the mystery of your will. I ask these things in the precious name and powerful authority of Jesus, who lived, died and rose to new life, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19 ESV)
