What is truth, Lord? You told Pilate that everyone who is of the truth listens to your voice. He responded with the age-old question. “What is truth?” The struggle to diffuse and weaken absolute truth, right from wrong, rages louder in the public discourse today. It fuzzes up the discussion and redirects the topic with the tendency toward individuals defining their own set of truths. I claim to be of truth, and I hear your voice through the Scriptures. Lord, I stand on absolute truth. I stand on your Holy Word as truth. I stand on your claim that you are the way the truth and the life. I stand on this rock, for it is on this rock you build your church. Thank you for stability in faith and constancy in absolute truth. I pray in the your name and authority, Jesus, as the way, the truth and the life, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.

“Pilate said to him, ‘What is truth?’ After he had said this, he went back outside to the Jews and told them, ‘I find no guilt in him.;” (John 19:38 ESV)
