Holy God, there is no one as holy as you. You are the author of righteousness. In the face of choice, there is only one path to take, to strive for righteousness. I am far from your perfection, Lord, but I put on your robe that fills the temple, the robe of righteousness that cloaks me traded in the new blood covenant of the cross for my filthy rags. I choose what is pure and right. I stand in the circle of your good pleasure in the precious name of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.

“The desire of the righteous ends only in good, the expectation of the wicked in wrath.” (Proverbs 11:23 ESV)
