Turn, O LORD, and deliver us. Save our country for the sake of your steadfast love. Don’t let the grand experiment, begun by your faithful servants, ordered by your precepts, be given over to tyranny. I am weary with moaning. Tears flood my bed at night for what I see going on. Send your angels to remove this evil. May the evil doers depart from our nation. Turn them back and put them to shame in a moment, for you hear our prayers and accept them. You see from your holy mount and know our devastation. Forgive our disobedience. Be glorified in the outcome. Grant us your mercy for your name’s sake in the name and authority of your Son, Jesus, and according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
