Almighty and Everlasting God, the fool says in his heart that you are not. He is corrupt and perpetrates evil deeds. You look down on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, any who seek you. Have they no knowledge of you, these who eat up your people like bread and do not call upon your name? They would shame the poor, but you are the refuge of the needy. We will shout the joy of your salvation when you restore the fortunes of your people, when the trumpets sound and the mount splits! We will rejoice in your everlasting promise in the name and authority of Jesus the Christ, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
