Hear a just cause, O LORD. Attend to my cry. Give ear to my prayer. Wondrously show your steadfast love as I seek refuge in you. I am beloved and kept, hidden in the shadow of your wings. My enemies seek violence. They close their hearts to pity. They speak arrogantly to cast me to the ground, eager as a young lion to tear, lurking in ambush. Arise, O Lord, confront and subdue them! I seek to behold your face in righteousness and to be satisfied in your likeness. Your presence vindicates me, preserves me and uplifts me. Yours is the glory and honor in the precious name of Jesus, according to your good and perfect will. Amen.
“From your presence let my vindication come! Let your eyes behold the right!” (Psalm 17:2 ESV)
