Lord, take me aside to rest in your presence. Shower me with your understanding and grace me with your peace. Let me know the joy of our deep and abiding relationship. Be my all-in-all. You are the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, the bright morning star of every one of my days. Lead me one prayer closer to seeing you as you are and one day nearer to heaven’s reality. May I rest under your wing until all the disruption dissolves and my heart’s rhythm beats your cadence. I ask in the powerful and loving name of Jesus, according to the good and perfect will of the Father. Amen.
