Drops of Joy – A Devotional Journey of Healing — Update 16
Come with me on the road to healing that Jesus led me along. Perhaps something in my past resonates with yours. May something you read in the devotions in Drops of Joy help you along your journey to healing. Learn to see yourself as God sees you.
From the book:
“Are you hurting from a poor decision in your life, or from circumstances outside your control? Are you struggling alongside a loved one deep into chemical or other addictions? I don’t have a silver bullet cure for you today, but I can point you to help.
As a divorce support group leader for seven and a half years, and a recovery ministry leader for three overlapping years and four additional years, I have come to understand myself, my weaknesses and strengths, my foibles and failures. I let life happen to me for several years and ended up in a marriage full of conflict on both sides of the table that led to my current state of being divorced. I value the process of coming through it all, learning about myself, and turning to help others with similar struggles. The best thing God taught me along the way was to view myself as He sees me. The concept seemed foreign to me at first, but the Bible is full of verses God wrote to me, teaching me how He thinks of me as His treasure.” (Taylor, Joy S., Drops of Joy – A Devotional Journey of Healing, 2026, Lily of the Valley Publishing Services, Indiana, p. 39)
Come and join me on this journey of God’s healing. May a piece of my past lead you to a better future through God’s intervention. This is a compilation of prose, poetry and prayer to bring you closer to the Lord. Read. Pray. Heal.

Joy S Taylor is a follower of Christ, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her workdays were spent using the Master of Science in Accounting degree that God graciously allowed at the age of, well, greater than 40. She led a divorce recovery support group sponsored by her church for seven years, and spent more than a decade in leadership roles for Celebrate Recovery and Care Net, using what God had done in her life to point others to the healing only Jesus gives. Now retired, she concentrates on writing for Jesus from her beloved hickory grove in Indiana, yet devotes some of her time to volunteering.
